At last we have some actual statistics to show them on the wide-ranging problem of (i) lack of awareness and (ii) underinsurance due to lack of knowledge or understanding of the super insurance benefits on offer. The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, AIST, has released
the findings of a survey of super fund members' insurance levels.
