REEF VIEW HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTRE, HAMILTON ISLAND

We have again chosen a conference-and-accommodation combined venue for convenience. Hamilton Island is nestled among the Whitsunday Islands, a group of 74 islands just off the Queensland coast and at the edge of the world famous Great Barrier Reef. The island enjoys a year round warm tropical climate.

Hamilton Island boasts its own airport so arrival from major cities is easy. With direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns plus one-stop connections from other major capital cities you can leave home in the morning and be meeting in paradise by lunchtime...and no transfer/taxi costs on arrival.

The event facilities are in a purpose built space, surrounded by gardens and seating our delegates comfortably in the classroom style that they favour. A walkway joins the venue to the Reef View Hotel and all delegates can be accommodated here at very competitive rates.

The themed exhibition (expo) area is integrated with the event space. Refreshments are served inside the expo area, maximising networking, ensuring a great vibe, laughter and lots of long conversations during the breaks...

Important : accommodation at the risk store's annual life risk forum
If you are considering attending this year's annual life risk forum on Hamilton Island in August 16-18, but have yet to register, we have important information you need to be aware of.

We have been informed by Hamilton Island and the hotel, that due to the annual sailing race week being held on the island from the 19th August, all available accommodation other than our block booking is nearly gone already. There won’t be any Wotif.com deals going by the time August comes!

We currently have on hold a sufficient number of rooms for our delegates and sponsors – once they go there’s nowhere else to stay! We need to ensure accommodation is available for everyone attending but we can only hold the maximum number of rooms for a limited time and if they aren’t being booked we cannot wear the penalty for cancellation and will have to let them go in tranches.

We urge you to secure your accommodation now, even if you wish to register and pay for the Forum at a later date. We cannot guarantee there will be accommodation if you do not book ASAP.

We cannot guarantee these rates or availability. GST is included in these rates.

*Please note: Hamilton Island Race Week: If you intend to extend your stay in Hamilton Island, you are able to get the same rate for the Friday night 19th only. As Race Week starts on the Saturday, the rooms will be very expensive and most likely unavailable.

How to book your room:

Option 1 - Online:

When completing the online Forum registration form, there is an accommodation section you can complete at the same time. No payment is required when you register. A team member from Events with Moore will then contact you to confirm your booking.

Deposits

To receive special room rates, all accommodation bookings must be made either online when you register for the Forum or direct with Events with Moore and accompanied by credit card details for security. No bookings will be confirmed by the hotel until Events with Moore receive your credit card details and email details. Each delegate must settle the remainder of their account direct with the hotel upon check-out.

Early Arrivals
Standard hotel check in time is 2 pm. Luggage storage is available on check-in if rooms are not available.

Late Arrivals
If you will be arriving to the hotel after 5 pm, please ensure your arrival time is clearly advised on your registration form in the space provided. If you do not alert the hotel to your late arrival, they may release your reservation and the Forum organisers will not be responsible for any cost or inconvenience caused.

Amendments or Cancellations
All amendments or cancellations to your accommodation booking must be made in writing directly with Events with Moore. Cancellations received within 14 days of the Forum commencement will incur 100% fee.
