PLEASURE & PAMPERING
Surf Speak - [Hang Loose]
Being in a relaxed metabolic and clear minded state. Inverse application of uptight, Circa '60s.

OTHER STUFF TO DO!

We invite you to bring your family along. The Hyatt Regency Coolum and the surrounding area of Coolum provides more than just a superb location for the conference and workshops. Here are just some of the activities you and your family can partake in while you are staying during the week of the conference. The golf and spa will be very popular, so we recommend you reserve your spots early to ensure you get your round or treatment in.

BEACH, BEACH CLUB & SURFING
The Beach Club is a secluded oasis just a short shuttle or bike ride from the bell desk. Laze by the pool and enjoy the tranquillity or make your way through the beautiful bushland to the
resort’s private beach which fronts two
kilometres of pristine Pacific coastline.

With warm weather (ave 26°C) and a lifeguard
on duty all year round, all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the tropical Queensland climate.

GOLF
As this is the home of the Australian PGA Championship, resort golf in Australia doesn’t get better than at Hyatt Regency Coolum.

This 72 par, 6263 metre course offers contrasting landscapes, from coastal holes adjoining the Pacific Ocean to manicured fairways that weave their way through native bushland.

Booking in advance will be essential

BIKING
Discover the resort at your own pace.
Meander along the dedicated bike paths
and explore the many activities on offer.
Bikes can be hired by the hour or for
the duration of your stay.
ART CLASSES
The Creative Arts Centre provides a unique opportunity to participate in an inspiring variety of classes, with artists from the local area. Classes are available to all ages to participate in. A selection of contemporary paintings, sculptures, glass and jewellery is available for purchase too.

DINING
The resort has some great fine dining
as well as casual eateries available for
delegates and their families to enjoy.
From the beautiful Eliza's to the pizza
parlour, the range of several options
will give all the family a chance to indulge
in their favourite cuisine.
Wednesday 18th is a networking night, so
you can choose to eat at the resort or
venture to a Sunshine Coast restaurant, while catching up with colleagues and friends.

Booking in advance is advised.

CHILDCARE
Why should adults have all the fun? Camp Hyatt, run by a team of qualified childcare professionals, provides activities for kids aged six weeks to twelve years.

Enjoy a massage or round of golf while the kids get into the many activities including arts and crafts, music, story-telling, kite-flying, archery, swimming, beach activities, adventure playground activities, canoeing, theme days and more.
Booking in advance is advised.

SPA & FITNESS CENTRE

unique environment, The Spa evokes total relaxation and wellbeing for both men
and women.  Covering over 750 sq. metres
and open to people aged 16 years and over,
this diverse facility offers everything required
to unwind and renew. A fully equipped fitness centre is also available to guests to use.
DINING OUT
Coolum and farther afield, Maroochydore and Noosa, host some wonderful restaurants to try out. Please be aware Noosa is a $100 return taxi fare!
A guide to the best restaurants in the area will be provided by your hosts, so you will have help in choosing your alternative if you don't fancy dining at one of the great resort restaurants.

LOUNGING BY THE POOL
The Sunshine Coast has one of the highest sunshine readings in the world, averaging
seven hours a day with an average
temperature of 26°C in March.
With nine pools on the resort grounds,
you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to swimming options.

The main pool is centrally located near the
Village Square and is heated throughout the year. A wading pool for the kids and plenty of shade mean you can linger all day.
BUSHWALKING
Mount Coolum dominates the surrounding area and overlooks the resort. If you are into bushwalking, why not take the challenge of climbing to the top of Mount Coolum and savour the spectacular views.

A walking track leads directly from the resort grounds to the mountain top.
The resort itself offers beautiful shady walking along safe trails, particularly the 2 km bush-to-beach walk.

THE TENNIS CENTRE
